Things continued to be busy for us during the month of March. We hosted one team from Clearview Baptist Church in Tennessee. They were able to complete most of the work on the Dining and Kitchen and have it ready for the Bay leaf roof. They did all this in only three and half days. The team also ministered in San Juan. They incorporated academics into their VBS program and even provided every child with books to help them learn to read. Pastor Mark also conducted training for Pastors and their wives. We were also able to finally meet with the Development Committee to discuss the work and future plans for the Rodney M. Gordon Christian Development Center. There is still much work to be done at the Development Center before we can move the camp facility. Continue to pray with us over this building project. We are still in need of groups to help with the completion of the dorm building and the caretaker’s home. Visit the Photo Gallery to see photos from the events of March. |

The group from Fayetteville completed the Sunday school building for Punta Gorda during their February trip. They also presented the church with a new sign. |
|
Harold Arthurs of Silk Grass received one of the donated laptops. We also presented Pastor Wayne Lopez with one of the laptops. These laptops were donated to the Southern Region Baptist Association by Eric and Julie Maas and by Tommy and Brenda Vines. We hope that the laptops will help Harold and Pastor Wayne with their Bible school assignments and studies. |

Hope Pre-school in Pomona adopted one of our baby rabbits. The Board of Education requires that the pre-schools have some type of animal at the school as part of the teaching curriculum. We also will be delivering baby rabbits to Light of the Valley Pre-school and to San Juan Pre-school. |

The Rodney M. Gordon Christian Development Center Committee met this month in Dangriga. We were able to update the committee members on the progress at the Development Center. All the members were pleased with the work that had been accomplished thus far. They are all very excited about the plans for the future development. This committee will meet again in April out at the site of the Rodney M. Gordon CDC. |

The construction group from Clearview Baptist worked hard to get so much accomplished in only three and half days. |

|
The ministries groups from Clearview worked in San Juan Village. They did VBS but with a focus on academics. They also provided children’s books to all the students. There were worship services each night at the church in San Juan. Pastor Mark spent time with the Pastors and their wives to provide some needed training. |

We had an Easter egg hunt at Silk Grass on Easter Sunday. Mrs. Darlene’s pre-school class shows off the eggs that they found. |
|
The work continues on the dining and kitchen. Locals from Silver Creek are putting on the bay leaf roof. Pastor Ustaquio Pop is in charge of the crew doing this construction. We will have photos in the Photo Gallery of the progress and completion of this building. |

Prayer Request · Continue to pray for the building project of the Rodney M. Gordon CDC. We are in need of groups to complete the construction of the dorm building and the caretaker’s home. · Please pray for the Pastors and leaders of the Southern Region churches. Our pastors work full time jobs outside the church so they need others to come along side them in their ministry. · Please pray for the Hopkins ministry. Frank and Jennifer need your prayerful support as they continue to hold Bible studies two nights a week in Hopkins. · Pray for the Feeding Program in San Juan. God is blessing this ministry and has provided the finances for it to continue. We are praying that God will raise up someone locally to manage this program after Jeff and Tiffany Boyles return to the States in August. · Pray for Jeff and Tiffany as they prepare to hand over their responsibilities here in Belize to others. God has much work for them to do in support of Belize from their home in Alabama and they are excited about going home but it will still be difficult for them to leave. Pray also for us (John and Darlene) as we prepare and adjust to being without our ministry partners and friends. · Pray for our Chairman, Wayne Lopez. He faces a lot of challenges as he tries to lead the Southern Region Association. · Continue to pray for the Women’s Center. As we draw closer to the time that we can move the San Roman camp over to the new facility, we will begin to renovate the camp to be used as a Women’s Training Center. We will need your help to get this ministry going. · Please also pray for us (John and Darlene) as we pray for God’s direction. We feel that God is leading us to spend more time in all the churches of the Southern Region so we are praying about putting together one day training seminars/workshops on various topics and conducting these in central locations across the Southern Region. We will need resources to conduct these workshops. We want to provide the workshops free of charge for our pastors/leaders and their spouses. |

The electricity is now being run out to the property. We will have the dining hall and kitchen wired for electricity as soon as the roof is complete. The Department of Rural Development has marked the place for the well and will begin to dig within the next few days. |
